Find quick answers about signing in, accessing cases and documents, connecting integrations, and getting help with CaseWizard.

Account and access

Who can use CaseWizard?

Your firm administrator provisions accounts for attorneys, paralegals, and staff. You need an active firm account before you can sign in.

Which sign-in methods are available?

CaseWizard supports email and password, passkeys, and magic sign-in links. Your firm chooses which options appear on the login screen.

I forgot my password. What do I do?

Select Forgot password? on the login page. Follow the instructions to reset your password. If you still cannot access your account, contact your firm administrator or support@casewizard.com.

Why can I not sign in?

Confirm that you are using the email address your firm administrator registered. If you use a magic link, check your spam and quarantine folders. If you use a passkey, sign in from a device where the passkey was registered. For more steps, see Troubleshooting.

Who changes my account access?

Your firm administrator handles user provisioning and access. Ask the administrator to confirm that your account is active and that your role includes the access you need.

Cases and documents

Why can I not see a case?

Case visibility follows matter assignments and your role. Ask your firm administrator to confirm that you are assigned to the matter and signed in with the correct firm account.

Why can I not open a document?

Document permissions match case access. Confirm that you can open the linked case first. If the file is still unavailable, contact an administrator.

Search the case list using alternate spellings or client names. If you still cannot find the matter, ask your firm administrator to confirm your assignment and permissions.

Integrations

How do I connect Microsoft or SharePoint?

Open Settings, then Integrations. Follow the connection workflow shown there. If you do not see the integration or cannot complete the connection, ask your firm administrator for help or contact support@casewizard.com.

How do I connect Egnyte?

Use the Egnyte connection workflow in CaseWizard. CaseWizard may show an associated Egnyte profile when you connect with a person. If the connection is unavailable, confirm that you have the required access and contact your administrator.

Integration availability and account settings can depend on your firm's configuration. Ask your firm administrator when an integration or setting is not visible.

Billing and administration

Who can help with billing questions?

Firm administrators manage billing configuration. Contact your administrator first. For unresolved product or billing questions, email support@casewizard.com.

Where can I find recent product changes?

Open What's new for recent staging release notes. Developers can also review the API changelog.
