Firm administration

Manage firm settings, users, and configuration.

Firm administrators configure CaseWizard for the organization, including users, roles, billing, integrations, and security settings.

CaseWizard firm administration settings

Complete common admin tasks

Open Settings from the main navigation.
Manage users, roles, and invitations under Users.
Configure billing and firm preferences according to your firm's procedures.
Connect integrations such as Microsoft, SharePoint, and Egnyte when your firm uses them.
Review audit and security settings where they are enabled.

Manage users and access

Use Users to manage the people who can access your firm's CaseWizard workspace. Review each user's role and invitation or account status before granting access. User-management settings can also control firm login and account policies. Make changes carefully because they affect how users sign in and what they can access.

CaseWizard records audit activity for important actions. Audit log entries can include summaries and additional context such as duration, client context, browser information, IP address, location, request details, and user agent. Use audit information to review activity when your role permits it.

Grant access according to your firm's least-privilege and confidentiality policies. Matter access, sensitive contact information, documents, and exports may require separate permissions.

Configure integrations

Connect Microsoft when your firm uses its calendar workflow. Select SharePoint or Egnyte when your firm wants CaseWizard document access and Document Merge for that provider. Confirm the provider and permissions before users begin uploading files or generating documents.

Document Merge and the Documents tab appear only when SharePoint or Egnyte is selected under Administration → Settings. Files are not migrated when switching providers, so plan any provider change with care.

Review billing and firm settings

Use the relevant settings areas to maintain billing and firm preferences. Available controls depend on your role and tenant configuration. Coordinate changes with the attorney or administrator responsible for billing, security, and records management.

Host-level tenant or subscription changes require a CaseWizard platform administrator. See Contact support for escalation paths.
