CaseWizard

Troubleshooting

Fix common CaseWizard sign-in, email, and access problems.

Work through these steps before contacting support. Most common issues involve the registered email address, account status, sign-in email delivery, or matter permissions.

Cannot sign in

Confirm that you are using the email address your firm administrator registered.
Try Forgot password? on the login page.
Clear your browser cache or try a private window if the page fails to load.
Ask your firm administrator to confirm that your account is active.

Your firm chooses which sign-in options appear. The available options may include email and password, passkeys, or magic sign-in links.

Request a new magic link if the previous link expired.
Check your spam and quarantine folders for the sign-in email.
For a passkey, use a device where the passkey was registered.
If you still cannot sign in, contact your firm administrator or support@casewizard.com.

Missing cases or documents

Verify that you are signed in with the correct firm account.
Search the case list using alternate spellings or client names.
Ask your firm administrator to confirm that you are assigned to the matter.
Confirm that your role includes access to the case and its documents.

Do not include client confidential information in a support request unless it is necessary. Redact confidential details from screenshots before sending them.

Integration connection problems

Open Settings, then Integrations, and confirm that the integration is available to your account.
Review the connection workflow and try again.
Ask your firm administrator to confirm that your account has the required access and that the firm has configured the integration.
If the issue continues, contact support@casewizard.com with the integration name and a short description of the error.

When the problem continues

Record the page or workflow where the problem occurs, the sign-in email you used, and the steps that led to the problem. Include screenshots when helpful, but redact client confidential information. Your firm administrator can help with account status, permissions, assignments, integrations, and billing configuration.
