Billed and collected, collections by attorney, and A/R aging.

Billing → Reports helps firm administrators and billing staff analyze billed amounts, collections, attorney attribution, and outstanding receivables.

Available reports

ReportPurpose
Billed & CollectedCompare billed amounts to collections over time
Collections by AttorneyAttribute collections to responsible attorneys
A/R AgingReview outstanding receivables by age bucket

Use Billed & Collected to compare billing activity with money received over time. Use Collections by Attorney when you need to attribute collections to responsible attorneys. Use A/R Aging to review outstanding receivables by age bucket.

Run a report

Open Billing → Reports.
Choose the report type.
Set the date range and any available filters, such as attorney, entity, or status.
Review the results.
Export the report if export is enabled for your role.

Set the date range to match the period you want to analyze. Filters help narrow the results to the attorney, billing entity, or status relevant to the question you are reviewing. For example, use an attorney filter with Collections by Attorney when reviewing collections responsibility.

Review report results

Start with the report name and date range so everyone reviewing the results understands the scope. Then check the selected filters before using the results in a billing review or internal analysis.

Billed & Collected places billed amounts and collections in the same view for comparison. Collections by Attorney organizes collections by responsible attorney. A/R Aging organizes outstanding receivables by age bucket so you can focus on the age of unpaid balances.

Export the results when your role includes export access and you need to continue analysis outside the report view.

Report access follows Reports permissions: View, Generate, and Export. Contact an administrator if a report is missing from your menu or if you cannot perform an available action.

Use reports with billing records

Reports support review of the activity recorded in the billing workflow. Invoices provide billed amounts, payments provide collections activity, and statements summarize account activity for a billing entity and date range. Review the related records when a report result needs additional context.
